The YKTOC-230W employs the principle of UV-persulfate oxidation coupled with NDIR detection (wet method) to measure TOC concentrations in water samples ranging from 0.001 mg/L to 100.0 mg/L. The water sample undergoes complete oxidation and decomposition into CO2 via UV-persulfate treatment; subsequently, driven by a carrier gas and after undergoing drying and impurity removal, the CO2 enters a Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) detector to determine the total carbon concentration within the water sample.
